Eraklis is the founder and Managing Director of the Firm. Has has advised and regularly advises, amongst others, airlines, transportation, technology and construction companies, land developers, private hospitals, hoteliers and touristic businesses, banks and insurance companies and large corporations on their obligations and accountabilities pursuant to the applicable regulations, as well as on the various legal risks arising out of their day to day operations.

His experience is further complemented with hands-on experience in complex financial transactions specifically relating to hedge funds, private equity, investment, and financial institutions. Eraklis’ experience further extends to Corporate and Criminal Litigation, specialising particularly in the areas of white collar, corporate and financial crime. With regular appearances before the Supreme, Appellate and District Court, Eraklis has acted for and against large Corporate Groups in the ambit of sophisticated litigation, achieving, inter alia, the obtainment of interim freezing and disclosure orders, remedies associated with the preservation of assets, the protection of UBOs and minority shareholders, as well as the issuing of mandatory and prerogative orders.

Eraklis has been entrusted as senior advisor to several reputable corporate and financial institutions, particularly in the obtainment of licenses and permits from supervising bodies in Cyprus. He has further advised a variety of institutional clients in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa regarding their business affairs in Cyprus, predominantly relating to cross-border international business acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and mergers, having substantial experience and in-depth knowledge in drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.

Eraklis has further acted as leading counsel to the Board of various domestic and international companies particularly in relation to matters of corporate governance, corporate liability and director’s duties and liabilities pursuant to the law. Eraklis has been renowned for his unparalleled expertise and for the practical, comprehensive, and innovative approach he offers to his clients.

After receiving his LLB (Honours) from the University of Athens and his LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Leicester, Eraklis concluded his practice at the Attorney General’s office in 2009 and was thereafter admitted to Cyprus Bar Association.
